When it was time for a Minnesota based printing company and book manufacturer to order a new tractor & trailer, they ordered the tractor to be painted in the company color, but left the wrapping of the trailer to us. With a paint color sample from the semi tractor leasing company we were able to provide vinyl color samples to match the tractor and other colors that would be used on the trailer wrap. After the colors & layouts were finalized, it was time to transform a basic white trailer into a huge mobile billboard.
The first step was to wrap in a solid gray vinyl to match the tractor. With the vinyl trimmed around the edges and worked around the rivets, it gives the look of a painted trailer. Next, the stripe and lettering had to be installed, which all had to remain perfectly in line with the trailer itself. We also installed the company logo on the tractor doors.
The end result is a beautifully matched tractor/trailer that is sure to get some attention, and get the message across to the thousands of people it crosses paths with each day! The other benefit to this wrapped trailer, is that the vinyl will keep the paint underneath looking like new, which will pay off when it is time to sell or return it to the leasing company.
